Data Operations Lead

The Data Operations team strives to ensure that Preqin’s coverage of the alternative assets industry is accurate, up to date and comprehensive. Working with a global team of data operations specialists to research, analyze and curate public data delivered to Preqin’s clients.

As a Data Operations Lead, you are responsible for the management and development of the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data to Preqin clients. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the team while working closely with Preqin’s global Data Operation teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the data operations team.
• Ensure productivity and data quality standards are delivered by the team.
• Highlight and implement the process changes required to optimize productivity and data quality.
• Project manage data initiatives to meet delivery objectives defined by business strategy.
• Communicate risks and dependencies to the global data operations team that could impact objectives.
• Coach team members to develop key skills and attributes in line with team objectives.
• Report on the team and individual KPIs.

Key Requirements for the Role

• 5+ years of overall experience and 2 years of relevant experience in managing a team
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Basic Microsoft Office 365. 
• Knowledge of alternative assets and/or financial markets is mandatory.
• Business fluency in English is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory
