Working with a global team of data operations specialists to research, analyze and curate public data delivered to Preqin’s clients.

As a Data Quality Associate, you will be creating and managing the data quality Power BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions. The primary function is to design and develop DQ reports to provide insights and improve decision-making on data remediation.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organization and management of epics, user stories/requirements/tasks within a project
• Conduct web-based research and gather data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
• Maintaining and supporting Power BI data analytics and reporting platforms
• Should adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports per business requirements
• Responsible for analyzing and communicating information strategically and accurately to the stakeholders to make better decisions. 
• Working with internal and external customers, as well as vendors, to ensure timely resolution of data issues and problems.
• Documenting processes and maintaining data records.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Should have 2+ experience in the Power BI, DAX, and knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack.
• Should have Experience in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, and MDX
• Knowledge and skills of secondary tools such as Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, PolyBase, Visual Studio, etc., and data warehouse development and work with SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile methodology experience preferable)
• Experience in solving data analytics problems and effectively communicating results and methodologies
• Ability to work with stakeholders and technical engineers with regards to timelines and scope clarity
